There was an eerie similarity on Sunday to last year's defeat at home to Chelsea: Spurs went ahead and missed further big chances before being derailed by key injuries with major implications, stupid moments of indiscipline and ultimately conceded four goals to their London rivals when a victory looked to be on the cards in the first half.
Spurs are facing another Postecoglou season compromised by a huge number of unavailable players. The club are at least bearing that in mind in relation to the disappointing results in recent weeks, but it's worth looking at where the fault might lie….
