There's only one Spurs fixture I hate covering - and it's this weekend
A 12-hour round trip to Burnley in the snow is a cinch compared to the emotions of a North London Derby
As a football reporter who covers the club he was born into supporting, I'm in a very fortunate position - in some respects - that I get to peek behind the curtain of the institution I've known since I was a child and also that I get to go everywhere they do.
I've been lucky enough to cover Tottenham Hotspur across the world, whether it's in a Champions League final in Madrid, huge games in Amsterdam, Turin and Barcelona or even friendlies in the USA, China, South Korea, Japan or Australia.
Yet if you ask me whether there is a match I dislike covering, there is only one. It's not a wet and windy Tuesday night in Stoke or a cold one in Burnley - where I once did a 12-hour round trip drive in heavy snow only for the game to be postponed as I parked up so I had to turn straight back around again and drive home.
It's not even the experience of going to the London Stadium with its seats that feel like they're in another postcode.
