What do you do as a manager when the fickle finger of football fate keeps repeatedly poking you in the eye?
That's the question Ange Postecoglou must ask himself before he names his team for tonight's final away day of the Premier League season as Tottenham Hotspur travel to Aston Villa.
For the footballing gods haven't just been unkind to Postecoglou and Spurs, they've been a bunch of vicious bullies so far, offering the north London side hope and then snatching it away at the cruellest possible time on numerous occasions.
It is testament to the Tottenham players' character and that of their head coach that they just keep rolling with it and find themselves with a European final to take part in on Wednesday evening in Bilbao.
First though Spurs must make the shorter trip to Villa Park for a penultimate Premier League game that could bear all the hallmarks of a terrifying suspense movie for Postecoglou and the watching Tottenham supporters.
